Despite claims by many manufacturers, there is no simple way to measure the capacity in any type of battery simply
by monitoring the terminal voltage. The only true method of measuring the capacity of a battery is to discharge it at a known, accurate
current, and measure the time taken for the battery to reach a voltage deemed to indicate full discharge, then use
current and time to calculate capacity,or Ampere Hours,or Watthours. We supply four instruments for testing the
capacity of most batteries used in FILM,VIDEO,and LIGHTING applications, due to the wide variety of different
terminations, most of the instruments have BP90 or XLR4 input connectors and testing is carried out using appropriate
adaptor cables.
